The Fort Wayne School of Urban Ministry (FWSUM) is being designed in order to maintain a training testimony for the Lord in Fort Wayne, IN and with the purpose of “equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12).

FWSUM exist to:

• Provide discipleship materials and training in order to help new or struggling Christians reach a level of maturity in their Christian life.
• Offer leadership development materials and training in order to prepare the next generation of lay leadership so that they may be equipped for significant ministries in their local congregation.
• Provide the training, deployment and supervision of volunteers and volunteer groups (individuals and organizations) that may have a “heart for the city” but need some direction in order to fulfill this passion.
• To become the liaison for colleges, universities and seminaries interns who may want to serve in Fort Wayne.
• Provide college level credit courses in the urban ministry as adjunct or guest lecturer faculty as colleges and universities give opportunity.
